Got a Resin 3D Printer Today

Today i got my new Anycubic Photon 3D Printer.

Nice stylish brown cardboard box.

Comes with the bits you need to get started straight away.

The printer is all made out of metal and feels to be very good build quality.

Also for safety reasons with the resin i am running it in a home made fume hood that is running the air through a carbon filter then outside.

A Photon is certainly on my "to order" list sometime early next year.
The test print seems like it came out pretty well, what was the print time for that?

Of course, what do you have in mind for the resin? Highly detailed copies of @Avarice 's left shin?

Not really sure what i will print it was more of a impulse buy then anything else. The print took about 5 Hours. 10Second exposure time for 0.025mm layers

Still can't beat a good DSLR when it comes to taking good quality photos.

So here's some sample models from Heroforge that might be a good indicator to see if they will work or not. I have to buy my custom model files, but before I do that, it might be worthwhile doing a preliminary look-over to see if it's viable. If you think these files will work, i'll go and buy the actual model for a test print. (Also let me know how much material costs will be so I can send you something for them)

@Furcas Did you end up getting the STL Files for the model you wanted printed. Still waiting on the Grey Resin. At this stage i have no idea when it will show up i have not received any notification on when or if it has even been shipped yet.

Stoner772 Yep, I got one ordered at least, although over time I can accumulate more as I need them (I have a few i want to get printed for painting). I'll send you them through discord

Furcas Attempted a print last night but messed up the supports. Will try again tonight. when i get home from work. Still a bit of learning curve with this type of printer but getting there.
